ChoiceLog Privacy Policy

YoungWon Studio (“Company”) values your privacy and complies with applicable data protection laws. This policy applies to the ChoiceLog application (“App”) provided by the Company.

1. Information We Collect Directly #

The Company does not directly collect personal information through ChoiceLog. The App requires no registration or login and sends no decision data to a server operated by the Company.

2. Data Stored on Your Device #

The following information you enter or create is stored on your device by default:

  • decision questions and options;
  • results selected through coin, card, or roulette modes;
  • optional reactions and follow-up reactions;
  • dates and times associated with decisions;
  • saved questions and local usage counts; and
  • App settings such as theme, sound, haptics, and iCloud Sync preference.

This information is used only to provide the App’s decision, history, search, calendar, follow-up, and personalization features.

3. Optional iCloud Sync #

iCloud Sync is an optional ChoiceLog Pro feature and is off by default. If you enable it, the App stores a private copy of eligible decision data in your private CloudKit database so that it can sync across devices signed in to the same Apple Account.

iCloud is operated by Apple and is subject to Apple’s terms and privacy policy. The Company does not operate a server for ChoiceLog decision data. Turning off iCloud Sync stops new synchronization after the App relaunches. Your local copy remains on the device, and existing records in iCloud are not automatically deleted.

4. Widgets, Shortcuts, and App Groups #

ChoiceLog may place a limited snapshot of recent questions, decision counts, and follow-up prompts in an App Group container on your device so that ChoiceLog widgets can display them. Widget content may be visible on your Home Screen, and you control widget placement and visibility through the operating system.

ChoiceLog also provides Shortcuts and App Intents that open saved questions or follow-up records in the App. These features are processed through Apple’s operating system services.

5. Advertising and Tracking #

ChoiceLog contains no advertising and does not use advertising SDKs, advertising identifiers, App Tracking Transparency-based tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs.

When optional iCloud Sync is enabled, the App may use a background remote-notification capability to receive CloudKit change events. This capability is not used to send marketing notifications.

6. In-App Purchases #

ChoiceLog Pro is purchased through Apple’s App Store using StoreKit. Apple processes payment and Apple Account information. The App receives only the product and entitlement information needed to unlock Pro and restore purchases. The Company does not receive your full payment card details.

7. Data Sharing #

The Company does not sell or rent your data. ChoiceLog includes no Company-operated sharing service and no advertising or tracking partners. Apple services such as the App Store, StoreKit, iCloud, widgets, and Shortcuts are governed by Apple’s own terms and privacy practices.

8. Data Deletion #

You can delete individual ChoiceLog records and saved questions through the controls available in the App. Deleting the App removes its local data from that device, subject to normal device backup behavior.

If you enabled iCloud Sync, deleting the App or turning sync off does not automatically delete existing ChoiceLog records from iCloud. You can manage app data through your Apple Account and iCloud settings. Because ChoiceLog has no Company account, there is no separate account-deletion process.
